While all sales are final on the platform, STUFF protects buyers through our protection plan.
STUFF Buyer Protection
If the item is not as described in the listing, you have 24 hours after confirmed delivery to let us know. For transactions with pick up, once you confirm the sale with the seller in person, the transaction is final.
Refund policy
Buyer Protection gives you a full refund for eligible returns.
Items must be purchased on the STUFF platform to be considered eligible. You won’t be covered under our protection policies if you handle the transaction off the website, including paypal, venmo, bank transfer, or paying in cash.
We allow returns for most items for the following reasons:
- item was damaged during delivery
- you received the wrong item during delivery
- item significantly doesn’t match the photos, description, price, or item condition after delivery
We do not offer refunds for the following reasons:
- item doesn’t fit
- item is not your style
- item smells
- you changed your mind
- you purchased a similar item elsewhere
- transaction was a service

We are committed to making STUFF a safe and easy way for people in NYC to buy, sell, and give away their things. We do this by prohibited items and conduct, verify customers, validate payments, and building smart tools to identify suspicious activity, listings, and orders.
